A Few Cute Pics

She's mastered sitting up.

My Lady C

We went to Medieval Times on Friday night and had a lot of fun.

C looked so cute in her crown.
Of course, she preferred to eat it.
We cheered for the green knight.
He even threw a yellow flower to C.
Our waitress or "wench" was really funny and even called D "My Lord." At one point, she caught us using our smuggled silverware and made everyone around us boo (part of the medieval experience is eating the meal with your hands).

Happy Half-Birthday C!

To celebrate, Cl got to go to the doctor for three shots. She was very tough this time and only cried for 2.5 seconds. Our little giant is in the 90th percentile for length (27 1/4 in.), between 50th and 75th for weight (16 lbs. 5 oz.), and 50th for head size (16 3/4 in.). Her half-birthday present was a new high chair and her half-birthday dinner on Saturday night was carrots. She LOVED them.

Checking out the new chair.
More carrots please!
Thanks Dad!
Mother's Day
Dad decided to experiment with pomade --bad idea.

Adventures in House Hunting III

I thought the "Adventures in House Hunting" series would last longer than a week and a half, but we really liked the first house we walked through. After six very long days of negotiations, we are pleased to announce that we got the house. Assuming the inspection goes well this Friday, we will be moving in at the end of June. Now we'll have plenty of room for y'all to come visit us here in Texas!

Adventures in House Hunting II

We made an offer on the house in the previous post and are in negotiations right now. We're cautiously optimistic at this point. The house is pretty overpriced, so the sellers will have to come down quite a bit for us to actually go for it. We'll let you know.

Adventures in House Hunting

We went out with our realtor, Sandra, for the first time on Saturday. House hunting wasn't exactly the party I expected it to be, but we did really like one of the houses we saw. Here are some pictures.

The master bedroom.
The stairs leading to three small bedrooms on the second floor.

I really like the entryway with the high ceiling and ceramic flooring. Off to the right in the picture is the formal living room and formal dining room.

This is the formal living room.

I like the updated kitchen.

Here's the view from the other side of the kitchen. The far room with the windows is the other living room.

It has four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The greatest thing is that it's within our ward boundries (we'd get to go to church with all of the friends we've already made). We haven't made an offer yet, but we are definitely thinking about it. We'll keep you posted.
