Nebulizing Fun

C loved the nebulizer treatment the first night we had it at home. She was just smiling and laughing. I think the pharmacist must have slipped a little something extra into her albuterol.

(Most everyone who reads this blog probably already knows this, but C contracted RSV, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, a virus that causes a condition called bronchiolitis. The nebulizer treatments were to help loosen the mucus in her chest and open up her airways.)

Valentine's Baby

This was D's idea for the Valentine's photo shoot.

I opted for something a little more modest.

The other day I put little C down on the ground like this and left the room.

When I came back in the room she was here. She's very talented.

February in Texas

I wanted to make good use of the sunny, 70 degree weather yesterday, so I took little C out for her first stroller ride. She loved it.

Getting to know us...

Loves: BYU football, being pampered, orderliness, surprises, ties

Hates: University of Utah, creamed corn, the word frosting, Lord of the Rings, bad grammar

B

Loves: graham crackers with frosting, Mean Girls (the movie), locking doors, candy, microscopes

Hates: tomatoes, angry music, mean girls (the girls), D's Don Quixote and Sancho Panza statues, having her grammar corrected

C

Loves: The First Noel, Mr. Capertillar, the monkey on her crib bumper, her hands, white grape juice

Hates: her swing, the purple butterfly, her carseat, Baby Einstein (for now), being hungry

Photo Shoot Gone Wrong

Last night after dinner I handed C off to D as usual and was alarmed to hear her screaming from the nursery a short time later. I asked what was going on and D assured me that everything was fine and that what was going on was a surprise. A surprise? I was intrigued. As the crying grew louder, I couldn't resist and I walked into the room to find the above scenario.

D has been conducting these so-called photo shoots since C was just a couple of weeks old. I call the following collection of pictures "Props to C." She's been a good sport.
