C in Michigan - Week One

It's been a relaxing vacation for C. She especially likes cousin Ella. Who needs pants when it's 70 degrees in Michigan?
She's also discovered the joys of Baby Einstein. Who says Baby Bach isn't thought provoking?

She finally met her Great Great Grandma Lucy and took a 5 generation picture (Great Great Grandma Lucy, Great Grandpa Bulson, Grandma V, Mom, and C.
She let her cousin Katelyn hold her.
Katelyn's a great playmate.
She also loves watching TV on a big screen with Ethan and Katelyn.
And, she's spent a lot of time just lounging. Week two should be more exciting.

Baby's First Parade

We went to the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday morning.

Before we knew it, C was covered in beads.

By the end, she'd made a killing. And boy were they fun to play with!

Four Month Check-up

I took C for her 4 month check up today. Here are her latest specs:

Length: 25 1/2 inches - 90th percentile

Weight: 13 lbs. 11 oz. - 50th percentile

Head size: 16 1/4 inches - 50th percentile

Fortunately she's long and lean like the Flakes and not short and stout like the Fredlines (and the little teapot).

New 'do

We've been experimenting with different hair styles. This is my personal favorite.

Johnny Jump Up

In honor of C turning 4 months old this week we got her a Johnny Jump Up. She's not very good at it yet. She does enjoy gnawing on the side though. It was 80 degrees here on Saturday, which is why she's sporting a diaper. I love Texas.

C vs. Crib Bumper

I heard C wake up from her nap the other day, but she was happy and cooing so I left her for a while. All of the sudden she was screaming bloody murder so I ran in to check on her. It seems she decided to pick a fight with her crib bumper. Of course I had to run and get the camera before rescuing her. Crib Bumber: 1 Claire: 0.
