Adventures in House Hunting

We went out with our realtor, Sandra, for the first time on Saturday. House hunting wasn't exactly the party I expected it to be, but we did really like one of the houses we saw. Here are some pictures.

The master bedroom.
The stairs leading to three small bedrooms on the second floor.

I really like the entryway with the high ceiling and ceramic flooring. Off to the right in the picture is the formal living room and formal dining room.

This is the formal living room.

I like the updated kitchen.

Here's the view from the other side of the kitchen. The far room with the windows is the other living room.

It has four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The greatest thing is that it's within our ward boundries (we'd get to go to church with all of the friends we've already made). We haven't made an offer yet, but we are definitely thinking about it. We'll keep you posted.

Baby's First Road Trip

We went down to Austin this past weekend to visit my old BYU roommate Sierra and her family. We got some great BBQ at Rudy's, went to the Texas History Museum, and visited the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. C was an angel on the trip, sleeping pretty much the whole way there and back.

Cereal Mess

This is what C looked like yesterday after D fed her rice cereal for the first time. His explanation: "I missed."

Michigan - Week 2

Well, I'm glad to finally be back in Texas after my first vacation to Michigan. My second week there was tons of fun. It was of course full of hugs from cousin Ella.
Then Katelyn made sure I was in tip top shape.
I got my first bath in a big person tub and LOVED it. Check me out here.
Aunt Audrey came up from Indiana to visit for a day. We went down to the river to feed the ducks with Katelyn.
Then we went to the place where mom and dad had their wedding reception for a really cool butterfly exhibit.
I was more interested in my fist than the butterflies.

I met my friend Skyler when I was home too. She really liked my fingers.
I mean, she really liked them.
We had a double date with Hayden and Mason. I think I'm next to Hayden, but I can't be sure. Who cares - they're both totally cute!

Grandma V was my favorite person.
I'm really going to miss her and Pa.
