People are always asking me which one of us C looks like. To answer the question, here is a side by side comparison of me as a baby (left) and C. D came into the room when I had the picture of me as a baby pulled up and he thought it was C. The crazy thing is that I am 3 months younger than C in that picture. C gets tons of attention because of her hair, but I must have been quite the little freak show with a mane like that at 6 months. C did get one thing from her dad though. She's in the 95th percentile for height, which she certainly didn't get from me.

ReplyDeleteToday a friend of mine asked me if I had any relatives in Texas, because she saw the picture of Claire and thought that it looked so much like Lily. She figured that your last name was "Flake" because of the name of your blog. It took me a few minutes to figure out who the "Texas Flakes" were, and then I thought it was so funny that Claire and Lily look enough alike for someone to know that they are related, especially since they both look like their mothers (who are not related) and don't look much like their fathers who are the actual relatives.
I don't think that you know my friend, but she checks your blog because her friend has a link to yours. My friend's name is Stacy Dorney, and her friend's husband apparently works with Dallan. I don't know if any of that even makes sense, but I thought I would pass on the fun connection that we made today.
Wow you both are so cute...I wish my kids had hair. Abby's 2 now and doesn't have half the hair Claire has.
