Random Thoughts for the Sake of Posting

1. I found a four inch gecko in our house yesterday so I trapped it under a bowl. I left for just a minute to find a piece of cardboard to slip under the bowl and very carefully carried the bowl outside to release the creature. When I lifted the bowl, there was no gecko. So I screamed. I guess we still have one in our house.

2. We went to Oklahoma City for the weekend. This picture is from the car ride up. Our little genius put her sunglasses on all by herself.

3. This next picture is from our trip to Ft. Worth several weeks ago. Awesome. Just awesome.

4. We cut our cable last week so we wouldn't waste so much time watching reality tv. What Time Warner doesn't know is that we still have cable even though I had to turn in our DVR (tear). I hold my breath every time I turn on the tv.

5. Next up, a video. You don't have to watch it, but then you won't get to hear C call piggies, "pibbies," which might be the cutest thing ever in the world.

6. My kids are still sleeping and I was supposed to be upstairs exercising, but instead I'm blogging. Here's a piece of advice. When you buy exercise equipment, buy it used on craigslist for cheap. That way you feel less guilty about not using it.

  1. I thought I saw a gecko in the background of the first pic but then I realized it was part of the car

  2. I still laugh at the pibbies video even though i've seen it 20 times. And, I still can't believe Dallan took that picture of the Texas lady right in front of her. So obvious.

  4. Hey, guys! Just happened on your blog. Very funny! I don't enjoy geckos. I remember showering one day in Austin and grabbing my shampoo bottle. I felt something wiggling under my hand. I about jumped out of my skin! There was a gecko on the bottle. I dropped it, and the gecko somehow got ripped into two pieces. Both halves were moving all over the floor of my shower, and I was screaming and jumping. Drew, who was around two at the time, popped his head in the shower and was completely amused by my funny dance.
