Bluebonnets

In keeping with Texas tradition, we took C and O out the other night for a little photo shoot in the bluebonnets. As you can see, O wasn't too sure at first.

But he was okay once he was safely in his mama's arms.

As soon as she put him down though, the tears flowed freely.

And, predictably, a meltdown ensued. Have you ever seen a baby that covers his ears so he doesn't have to hear himself screaming? This one does it constantly, and it's quite amusing.

Meanwhile, C had a grand time, oblivious to the fact she was committing her first crime. (It's supposedly illegal to pick bluebonnets in Texas.)

  1. How beautiful, flowers and kids!! Looks like a page out of a story book. I guess there are some nice things about Texas: blue bonnets and it's a red state. Jason is looking forward to his visit.

  2. Beautiful little criminal you have...at least she poses for a good mugshot! San Antonio sucks...I haven't seen any bluebonnets down here!

Those pictures are beautiful! What fun, even with a meltdown and a misdemeanor.
