As is customary for me the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I woke up with my stomach in a knot. Even though I KNEW BYU would win all along (okay, maybe I doubted a little on 4th and 18), I still felt like throwing up from the time I woke up until the game clock hit 0:00 and BYU had pulled out another stellar, come-from-behind victory over the Utes. Whoever claims God doesn't care about BYU football must not have seen the last two BYU-Utah games! Even B managed to stay awake for the whole game, although she refrained from the screaming, swearing, praying, and other goings on that will one day mark her true conversion to BYU football. Good times. Go Cougs.
Great to hear you're still a big fan. I have sympathy for Bethany. You need to visit my blog and read about my NFL football experience. Now that was a game to remember and I don't even watch football! I'm fine just reading a book while my husband watches the ball, but I can't do that in the same room because he hoops and hollers too loud! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! Fear not, the Stevens are firmly behind you. Marc and I screamed, prayed, cheered, moaned, pleaded, rewound the DVR a few times, and (on the 4th and 18) maybe even peed a little. True blue. Go cougs.
ReplyDeleteI like the huge ad for Omniture on the scoreboard :) (They just happen to be my employer)
